About Cops & Kids Adventures

The “Cops & Kids Adventures” group is a cooperative team consisting of several of Darien’s youth and police officers.  The group conducts several adventure outings and community outreach projects during the course of the school year.

The group is constructed through a partnership between the Depot Youth Center and the Darien Police Department.

For the past three years, the Darien Police Department in cooperation with the Depot Youth Center has been granted funding by the state of Connecticut for this program to exist.  Of the thirty municipalities that applied for this grant, Darien was one of 10 to which the funding was granted.
